[File publishing function (creating file downloading URL), Folder publishing function (creating file uploading URL)]
You can easily access VG-Sync 2 Cloud Storage from Web client with your usual using Web browser.
You can create a public URL (file downloading/uploading URL) where others can download or upload files. When you create a public URL, you can set file/folder published period (public URL availability), authentication password to show the actual file downloading/uploading page, number of times limit for file downloading/uploading, file downloading/uploading completion notification email address, additional information inputting items (Name, Email address, etc.). This function enables you to safely pass large files without attaching those files to email, and also you can use its GUI with either English or Japanese as you like.
* You can create only 1 URL for file uploading per 1 VG-Sync user, with VG-Sync 2 Free version Cloud Storage.

[Web client GUI design setting function]
To Web client operation screen shown after its logged on with VG-Sync user, and also to the actual file downloading/uploading page, shown clicked the file downloading/uploading URL, created with File/Folder publishing function, you can set Logo image file & its linked URL and menu character color and its background color as you want.
[Operation logging function]
You can check operation records to your VG-Sync Cloud Storage, those by VG-Sync user, e.g. user login/logout, file downloading/uploading, and also those by VG-Sync Administrator, e.g. administrator login/logout, VG-Sync service stop/start, enable or disable SFTP/WebDAV/ Web client. And also you can download all operation records as CSV file.
[Virus scan function]
This function works only with Web client interface. It works when file uploading was done to VG-Sync Cloud Storage. And also this function can be executed to a file already uploaded to VG-Sync by other ways, SFTP or WebDAV, selecting to do from the right-click menu of the file.
[Public URL Supervisor approval function]
This function works only with Web client interface. When you created some file downloading/uploading URL, setting this function forces you to require other VG-Sync user's approval (e.g. your organization supervisor) to become the Public URL actually usable.
[Zip compression function]
This function works only with Web client interface. This function can create zip file on VG-Sync Cloud Storage with files and folders that have already been uploaded, even if you don't create zip file before those uploading in advance.
Security
[IP address restriction setting function]
It is available to set access restriction with different IP addresses for the management screen and data storing area respectively. For data storing area, it is available to set access restriction with different IP addresses for "SFTP", "Web client", "WebDAV" respectively.
[System health check function]
This is to check various status in your VG-Sync virtual machine working status, disk freespace availability, number of unknown SFTP processes, VG-Sync service running status, VG-Sync User lock status, and some email notification related to the those events will be sent to Administrator if there happened some problem.
* Please note that VG-Sync Free version Cloud Storage is, 5GB user available disk size, 5 users, 1 folder, 1 administrator user, and its contract is yearly basis, and you can use it as same Free version Cloud Storage with its contract renewal.

Q1. If we started to use VG-Sync, is there some support for that ?
A1. Yes, you can send us your asking email written in Japanese or English to support@vg-sync.jp . International phone calling to us in Japanese is welcomed. Sometimes we can talk with in English mainly with some chat tool like Skype. Please note that our support hours is 9:30 - 12:00, 13:00 - 17:00 (JST), Monday to Friday during our working hours based on our working calendar. Please also note that our response time regarding some support to you is not guaranteed though we try our best for you as much as possible.
Q2. Is there something situation we cannot get some support regarding our using VG-Sync from you ?
A2. Sometimes yes. Because VG-Sync Cloud Storage is security-oriented service, to work for you like "I forgot information to login to VG-Sync Administration screen.", your written application form submitting is required. For such your emergency situation, only your asking to us with phone call or email is not accepted. And also, there are some cases we need your cooperation to try to fix your facing problem regarding VG-Sync and find its cause. But if you refuse your cooperation with us for that with some reason, we might stop the troubleshooting for you.
